Terms of Service

1. What Last Friday is

Last Friday is a job search tool that helps you tailor resumes using AI. It does not submit applications on your behalf. All applications are submitted manually by you. Last Friday is a tool, not a career counseling service, staffing agency, or employment advisor.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Last Friday. By using the service you confirm you meet this requirement. One account per person.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at christoworkprofile@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Payment

Paid access, when offered, is processed by Stripe. Paid access is non-refundable except as described in the Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual property

You own the content you upload, including your resume, work history, and personal information. You own the AI-generated drafts produced for your account. Last Friday retains ownership of its platform, software, branding, and underlying systems. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Last Friday platform or interface.

6. Fair use and acceptable use

Unlimited Friday and paid generations are intended for your personal, human-paced job search. Fair use does not include automated or bulk generation, account sharing, resale, or activity that disrupts the service. You agree not to:

• Generate fraudulent credentials or misrepresent your background
• Use automated or bulk generation to create spam or unsolicited applications
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Share, resell, or transfer account access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

7. AI-generated content disclaimer

Last Friday uses AI to generate resume drafts. All output is a draft for your review. You are responsible for reading, editing, and verifying every generated resume and cover letter before submitting it to any employer. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any generated content. Generated content does not constitute career advice, professional advice, or a representation of your qualifications. Submitting inaccurate or misleading content to an employer is solely your responsibility.

8. No employment guarantee

Last Friday provides tools, not outcomes. We make no guarantee that use of our service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Individual results vary. See our Disclaimer for more detail.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Last Friday available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or improvements that result in temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Last Friday and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Modifications to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last updated date above. Continued use of Last Friday after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email where possible.

12. Termination

You may stop using Last Friday at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections covering intellectual property, liability, and governing law survive termination.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Last Friday will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
